We are now looking for a confident, hands on, and service-driven Front of House Manager to lead our FOH team and elevate the guest experience even further.
The Role: Front of House Manager
As our Front of House Manager, you will be the face and force behind the restaurant's day to day operations. You will lead by example, inspire your team, and uphold the high standards The Banc is known for.
You'll be customer facing, detail-oriented, and operations savvy ensuring each guest receives not only great food, but memorable service from the moment they walk in.
This is a full time, on the floor management role requiring leadership, energy, and calm professionalism, especially during high volume service periods.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of hosts, waiters, runners, and bartenders
Ensure an exceptional and consistent guest experience from arrival to departure
Maintain service standards through regular team briefings, training, and real time feedback
Be hands on during peak shifts running sections, greeting guests, problem solving on the floor
Oversee daily operations including rota planning, table management, cash handling, and guest bookings
Handle guest feedback with professionalism and turn any issue into a positive experience
Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth, timely service
Train new team members, monitor performance, and support staff development
Ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing, and food safety requirements
Uphold a clean, organised, and professional dining room environment at all times
Liaise closely with senior management on business improvements, team culture, and guest retention
What We're Looking For:
At least 2 years experience in a senior FOH role, ideally in a high volume restaurant
Strong understanding of premium service delivery and restaurant flow
Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and poise
Warm, welcoming personality confident in engaging with guests of all backgrounds
Exceptional problem-solving, people management, and communication skills
Tech-savvy with experience using booking systems, POS, and rota tools
Organised, detail-driven, and always one step ahead
Right to work in the UK
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: 31,000.00-40,000.00 per year
