We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Manager to join our growing team at The Five Alls, Filkins. The Restaurant Manager will work closely with our General Manager and Head chef to deliver outstanding service to our guests. While acting as Restaurant Manager, the ideal candidate will also fulfil certain duties of an Assistant General Manager and support the business in all areas. Having taken over The Five Alls in the last 2 years, we are keen on building a team that will help grow the business together- the ideal candidate will have previous management experience in pub or hospitality sector, be flexible with working hours and availability, and be able to run and communicate with a team.
Duties
Work closely with, and assist the General Manager in day to day operations of the venue with focus on the restaurant.
To supervise the restaurant and Front of House, ensuring our guests are well looked after
To open or close the building, including cashing up and locking up.
Work in the restaurant or on the bar when business requires during quiet or busy periods
Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all health and safety standards are met within the restaurant premises- including allergen awareness
Handle customer enquiries and complaints ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience.
Organise and run training sessions with the team to set and maintain service standards.
Help maintain day to day emails, check ins and general admin tasks.
Work closely with Head chef on menu development, including producing weekly sales reports to help drive sales
Experience
Previous restaurant, pub or hospitality experience in a supervisory or managerial role is essential
Experience in supervising or managing a team is advantageous, showcasing leadership skills in a hospitality setting.
Knowledge of food safety practices is key to maintain high hygiene standards.
Experience within a hotel environment and knowledge of hotel systems is desirable
