Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Restaurant Server to join our team at Andhra Bhavan. As a Server, you will play a key role in providing an exceptional dining experience by delivering outstanding customer service and showcasing your knowledge of our diverse menu.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet guests promptly and warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Assist customers in making menu selections, providing suggestions, and explaining dishes and their flavors. Address customer inquiries and accommodate dietary preferences or allergies.

Order Management:

Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff. Ensure timely delivery of orders to the table, verifying accuracy and presentation.

Restaurant Operations:

Set up tables with appropriate utensils, napkins, and condiments. Clear tables promptly after meals and reset them for the next guests. Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure smooth operations. Communicate any customer concerns or feedback to the management team.

Upselling and Promotions:

Suggest appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance the dining experience. Inform guests about daily specials or seasonal promotions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Prior experience as a server in a restaurant is an advantage. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to learn about the menu and provide knowledgeable recommendations (training can be provided). Ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Basic math skills for handling payments and splitting bills. A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and attention to detail.
