Must be available weekends and evenings. Mixture of daytime and evening hours (Friday to Sunday). Minimum wage offered plus tips. Main hours needing covered for this role would be a Friday and Saturday 5pm to Finish and Sunday 12-Finish. Please note that number of hours needing covered each weekend will change and can range from 4 hours to 20 hours. Experience in the hospitality industry and with customer service is essential. You must be 16 and over to apply for this role
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Setting tables, including polishing cutlery and glasses
Restocking food and beverages
Greeting customers in a welcoming and friendly manner and bringing them to their allocated tables
Giving customers menus informing them of specials, deals and dishes for specific dietary requirements
Taking food and beverage orders
Delivering food and beverages and clearing tables
Ensuring that customers are satisfied i.e. they have received everything they have ordered, if they need anything else and if they are satisfied with their food
Carrying out other duties as instructed by restaurant managers
Dealing with customer queries appropriately and passing it on to management if necessary
Handling bills and ensuring they are correct
Making desserts and coffees (training can be provided)
