As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, taking orders, and assisting with food preparation. Your ability to engage with guests and provide hospitality will be key to creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and drink orders while offering recommendations and upselling menu items. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders. Process payments accurately and efficiently while maintaining cash handling procedures.

Skills

Strong upselling abilities to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Basic maths skills for processing bills and handling cash transactions. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Understanding of food safety standards to ensure compliance in all food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables during busy periods. A genuine desire to help others, providing outstanding guest services at all times. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members alike.
