Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic all-arounder to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests.

As a server you will be responsible for interacting with our guests and ensuring their needs are met. This will include taking orders, providing allergen information along with menu recommendations. Your ability to manage time effectively and upsell menu items will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall dining experience.

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of beverages including cocktails, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given. Assist with closing duties for the restaurant. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role. Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions effectively. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when required. A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating enjoyable experiences for guests.

Pay for this position is dependent on experience. Tips for this position are generous due to our 10% restaurant charge applied to all bills.

Pay: 12.21-12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
