Restaurant Supervisor

One of Oxford's most popular pub companies is expanding its team. This could be your opportunity to join us at The Porterhouse grill & rooms with exciting, and highly competitive, opportunities in a number of positions now available.

We are looking for a 25-30 hour supervisor who can act in a supporting role to the management team and provide cover for them in their absence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day running of the restaurant. The qualities ideal candidates will possess include (but are not limited to):

Current/previous experience in a similar busy, high-end restaurant environment. A minimum of 1 year's restaurant experience in a busy restaurant Good knowledge and passion for excellent food & drink. A pro-active, can-do attitude Initiative and drive to get things done in a professional manner and within set timescales Confidence and adaptability in the way they give and receive instructions to the team and from senior management. Manage the daily health and safety protocols at the site. Customer Focus - Building and developing customer relations and positive atmosphere.
