We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, ensuring that our restaurant maintains high standards of food quality, service, and customer satisfaction. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage a diverse team and foster a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Manage inventory, including food production and supplies, to optimise efficiency and reduce waste.
Supervise staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills in hospitality and customer service.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve service delivery.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner to ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus that reflect current trends.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
Solid understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
Previous experience in supervising staff within a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of service.
