Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PT Duty Manager/Supervisor to join our small team at our Japanese restaurant in Broomhill. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in this role, and be enthusiastic and energetic, with a positive, friendly attitude. Shifts will be a mixture of evenings and weekends, although availability on weekday daytimes would be an added bonus. Experience of working in an Asian restaurant would also be highly beneficial but not required, as full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

Opening/closing of the business as a key holder Lead and motivate a small team of servers on shift Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations Maintain high standards of hospitality by delivering excellent customer service Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant environment at all times Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production and culinary standards Oversee the preparation of drinks to ensure a high quality of service End of day till reconciliation

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant supervisory roles within hospitality settings Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage a small team effectively Good knowledge of food safety regulations & food allergens Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure Effective communication skills to liaise with staff and guests professionally Ability to handle customer complaints diplomatically while maintaining high service standards A Personal License would be highly advantageous but not required
This role is available for an immediate start. The option of additional hours over and above the stated range may be available at times due to staff holidays or peak times of year.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.30 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 25 per week
