Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Restaurant Team Member to join our team at Sole Bay Fish Company, providing exceptional service within our restaurant & take away. The ideal candidate will have hospitality experience and assist in the day to day running of both the restaurant & take away in order to deliver a high quality service to all customers.
Duties:
Deliver a great customer experience by providing excellent customer service
Ensure high standards of food quality at all times in line with company processes
Assist in food preparation and kitchen tasks as required
Adhere to all Health & Safety and Food Safety processes
Assist in opening and closing the shop, kitchen and/or restaurant in line with company policies and procedures, when required
Read tickets, prepare food items, packing and collating orders accurately in a timely fashion
Understand the correct processes for prepping, cooking and service all food items on the menu
Support the culinary team with basic food preparation
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene within all areas
Requirements:
Strong time management skills to handle multiples tasks efficiently
Ability to work well in a team and provide help where needed
A positive and professional attitude when interacting with team members & customers
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous
Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary terminology
