Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding guest services, ensuring that each patron feels welcomed and valued. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organised dining environment. Your culinary knowledge and hospitality skills will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our guests.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using a point-of-sale system. Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and dining areas during service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders. Handle cash and card transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced till.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling transactions effectively. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn about menu items. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: Up to 12.50 per hour
