We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar/restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and leadership, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role requires a keen understanding of food production and preparation, as well as experience in supervising staff within a restaurant or hotel environment. The Bar Manager will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while ensuring the smooth operation of the bar.

Duties

Manage all aspects of bar operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service. Supervise and train bar staff to ensure high standards of service and adherence to health and safety regulations. Develop innovative drink menus and oversee the preparation of beverages to enhance customer experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely service. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions to enhance guest satisfaction. Monitor stock levels and order supplies as necessary to maintain efficient operations. Implement promotional strategies to increase bar sales and attract new clientele.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Knowledge of food production processes and experience in kitchen operations is advantageous. Familiarity with bartending techniques and beverage preparation is essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
