Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated restaurant/bar staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve serving drinks, preparing food, and engaging with customers to enhance their experience.

Duties

Serve beverages and food items efficiently and courteously to guests. Prepare and mix drinks according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Engage with guests to provide excellent service, including upselling menu items where appropriate. Assist in the preparation of food items as required, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic math skills for billing purposes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communication regarding orders. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain service levels.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is essential. Familiarity with serving techniques and guest services is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary experience is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt within a team-oriented atmosphere. Pay: 10.50-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
