We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager/Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our thirty five cover Bistro. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and team management, ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly while providing exceptional service to our guests. This role requires a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and preparation.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly in food safety and hygiene practices.
Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding service and maintain a positive work environment.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for customer satisfaction at all times.
Organise staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
Skills
Background in hospitality management with proven experience in a restaurant setting.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary operations.
Proficient in food preparation techniques with an understanding of kitchen operations.
Exceptional supervisory skills, capable of motivating staff to achieve high performance.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and staff alike.
Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.
