Norfolk Youth Justice Service (NJYS) is a multi-agency team working with children in contact with the criminal justice system. NYJS works to reduce re-offending, helping children to achieve the best possible outcomes for their future.
An integral part of our work is to support victims of their crimes within Restorative Justice principles.
We are seeking two skilled practitioners with restorative justice/approaches experience to develop our current service to victims.

In this role, you will work closely with a variety of professionals to provide a service that meets victims' needs, is restorative in nature and assists children to move forward positively. You will also provide training in restorative justice to practitioners and volunteers.
You will have a qualification and/or significant experience in either a criminal justice, social care or victim/restorative justice arena. You will need excellent communication skills, a knowledge of and sensitivity to the impact of crime on victims and the community and a strong commitment to the principles of Restorative Justice.
This post will involve some evening and weekend working. Your office base will be in Norwich and countywide travel may be required.
