We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented & creative UK Retail Activations Manager to lead the execution of brand-led retailer campaigns, visual merchandising, and in-store events across our UK retail footprint. Sitting at the intersection of marketing and commercial, this role is responsible for ensuring our brand comes to life in-store in a way that excites customers, drives engagement, delivers commercial impact, and is true to our brand DNA.


This is a pivotal role that translates both the brand marketing calendar and retailer trade calendars into best-in-class retail activations across premium retail environments.


In more detail, your role will include:



Retail Campaign Activation



Lead the end-to-end delivery of UK retail marketing campaigns across key partners (e.g. Space NK, Sephora, John Lewis, Harrods) Own the UK retail activation plan, ensuring seamless execution of the Medik8 brand story across key campaign moments (all product launches, Christmas, gifting, Black Friday, brand takeovers/key moments). Translate global brand campaigns into UK-relevant in-store executions, aligned with commercial retail objectives.

Visual Merchandising (VM)



Oversee all VM localisation and project management across permanent fixtures, windows, gondolas, sites, plinths, and seasonal co-branded installs Manage the VM calendar and local partner toolkit execution, ensuring high-impact and cohesive brand presentation across all touchpoints. Partner with global design teams and VM agencies to ensure brand consistency and innovation. In collaboration with the commercial team, ensure all planograms are aligned with commercial goals and represent the brand Ensure our permanent brand fixtures across the Professional retail/clinic environment are rolled out in line with the professional validation process

Retail Events & Brand Pop-Ups



Plan and execute all in-store events and pop-ups, including new store openings, brand moments customer-facing activations, and influencer/press experiences. Manage briefing, budgets, production timelines, staffing, and post-event reporting. Collaborate with PR, digital, and trade teams to amplify event impact and coverage, ensuring attendance and impact.

Retailer & Cross-Functional Collaboration



Build strong relationships with UK retail & VM/event partners, aligning activation plans with retailer calendars and trade objectives. Act as a key point of contact between sales, brand marketing, trade marketing, PR, and operations to ensure campaign excellence and launch execution Maintain a clear and collaborative workflow across internal and external stakeholders.

Global Collaboration & Toolkit Influence



Act as the UK voice in global retail planning discussions, ensuring regional needs and commercial nuances are reflected in global toolkit Work closely with the global design and brand teams to influence the creation of in-store toolkits and guidelines that are functional, scalable, and aligned with retailer requirements / timelines Provide structured feedback post-activation to inform continuous improvement of global assets and campaign planning.

Project Management & Reporting



Own activation timelines, budgets, and asset/toolkit delivery. Track performance and ROI of all activations, providing insight-driven recommendations for future activity. Continuously optimise activation plans based on store feedback, shopper behaviour, and commercial results.

5+ years of experience in retail marketing, brand activations, or trade marketing within beauty, fashion, or premium/luxury consumer goods. Proven track record of delivering high-quality in-store campaigns, VM rollouts, and brand-led events. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously with multiple partners. Highly collaborative, solution-oriented, and detail-focused. Experience influencing global teams and working cross-functionally with creative/design departments. Passion for brand storytelling and delivering exceptional customer experiences Experience managing external agencies, creative partners, and installation teams Can-do positive attitude and agile mindset
