Retail Administrator


15 hours per week (Thursday and Friday, with flexibility for additional days). Salary 25,000 per year pro rata. Actual salary 10,000 per year

This is an exciting and vital role at the heart of our retail operations, working closely with our current two-day-a-week administrator (Monday and Tuesday) to ensure seamless support across the week.

It's much more than administration--it's about keeping our retail network running smoothly and supporting the incredible work that funds our care.

About the Role:


As part of our Retail Administration team, you'll deliver exceptional support to donors, customers, and our retail team across North Devon. Your days will be varied and fast-paced--no two will be the same! From greeting visitors and dealing with enquiries to ordering/ managing stock, Gift Aid donor communications and supporting new projects, you'll play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly.

What We're Looking For:



Strong communication skills -- able to maintain clear, consistent, and proactive communication with a job-share partner to ensure smooth handovers, shared priorities, and continuity of service Friendly, calm, and efficient when supporting shops and the public, even on busy days Excellent organisational and time management skills -- skilled at prioritising tasks, monitoring progress, and understanding/ anticipating the wider impact on overall operations Proven experience as an Administrator or Receptionist in a customer-focused environment Experience of using Microsoft products and ability to learn new IT systems Collaborative team player, adaptable and proactive in a fast-changing environment Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Able to verify data, maintain consistency, and uphold high standards in all tasks.
