Job Description

We are a fast-growing retailer looking to add an experienced area manager to our field operation team. Our area managers are passionate about retail, motivating and training their store teams while driving their stores to be the best they can be.

We are looking for an exceptional area manager who will recruit, train and motivate their store teams while having progression plans in place so all of our colleagues can fulfil their potential. They will set sales performance goals for their teams and help stores to strive to meet these goals and better them. Our area managers need to be aware of the day-to-day operation of their stores in terms of sales, loss prevention and health and safety and quickly and efficiently deal with any issues that arise. We also want to provide our customers with a fantastic shopping experience, so part of the role is ensuring all the teams are always providing excellent levels of customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a background in fast moving or discount retail. They will have excellent communication and motivation skills. They will be able to lead a number of store teams at the same time while problems solving effectively. A full UK driving license is also essential for this role

Experience

- Previous experience in a managerial role within a multi-site environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven track record of achieving targets and driving operational excellence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 45,000.00 per year
