Linen Mill Studios is seeking to recruit a professional, self-motivated and dynamic individual to join our Retail Team to support the team in providing world class customer service at the world's only official Game of thrones Studio Tour.

This is a unique experience and environment where you will delve into the seven kingdoms and beyond, a place where you can be your unique self. We are looking for motivated individuals with a 'can do' attitude and excellent customer service skills, who are reliable and flexible to work across Monday to Sunday.

Job Role:

Retail Assistant



Location: Linen Mill Studios, Banbridge, Northern Ireland



Responsible to: Retail Team Leaders



Contract: Full time permanent



Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week working 5 days across Mon-Sun on a variable rota.



Salary: 12.58 per hour



You will be interacting with guests as they emerge from the Tour into the retail studio shop, providing excellent product guidance and knowledge. You will be processing till transactions, replenishing the shop floor and assisting with stock deliveries. You will be responsible for keeping the magic alive as the guests end the Tour and will ultimately be their lasting impression as they exit the shop!

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Greet and welcome guests as they enter the studio shop. Interact with customers in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner, assist with guests' enquiries, ensuring their experience of the tour continues throughout the retail shop. Promote products were possible and engage with customers to maximise sales opportunities. Maximise the visual appeal of products on the shopfloor, by ensuring stock is always replenished on the shopfloor. Contribute to the shop KPI's and support the team's day-to-day targets. Handle all enquiries from both guests and colleagues in a polite and professional manner. Till operation - conducting transactions in line with cash management policies, process both cash and card transactions. Assist with incoming deliveries, and online orders. Wear the GOTST uniform correctly and have a tidy appearance. Have good working relationship with colleagues across all departments. Ensure store cleanliness and safety of guests and team members. Being aware of and following company policies and procedures. Comply with Health & Safety legislation.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITIES



Be familiar with the Game of Thrones story, Family Houses and characters, the features of the tour and the merchandise and catering options available. Work flexibly as part of a team and support colleagues across all departments. Protect and enhance the reputation of the Game of Thrones Studio Tour. Depending on business need, you may be assigned to assist within the Visitor Services and Visitor Experience Teams as required and be willing to carry out other related duties that may reasonably be expected from time to time. Game of Thrones Studio Tour operates 7 days a week, 361 days per year. Your shift allocation will be based on this. Weekends, bank and public holidays are inclusive.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE



Retail and excellent customer service experience. Fluent in English Reliable and flexible Excellent teamwork

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE



Recent experience in a busy customer service environment. Experience working with a bespoke product in a unique retail setting. Knowledge of and interest in the Game of Thrones story
