We are looking to recruit a Retail Assistant to join our team at Brechin Castle Centre. The position is 35 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days (this will include alternate weekend working)
Our ideal candidate will:
Have good retail experience with an interest in taking on extra departmental responsibilities
Have excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of customers
Be well presented, organised and punctual
Have a positive 'can do' attitude
Be energetic, enthusiastic and dynamic
Be flexible and adaptable to change
Be able to work effectively as part of a team and on their own
Duties will include:
Ensuring customers have the best shopping experience
Having excellent product knowledge in order to advise and answer customer queries
Merchandise products, ensuring all the products are correctly priced, clearly marked and looking their best at all times
General housekeeping
General till operations and cash handling

In time there will be an opportunity to liaise with suppliers. The expectation for this position is to be really focused on standards and providing the best customer service to all our customers.
