As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their purchases. The role available is a key holder position responsible for cashing up tills and closing down the shop, other responsibilities will be given as the successful applicant acquires further knowledge. on how Good News operates.
```Duties```
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
- Key holder position will attract additional responsibilities
```Requirements```
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Basic computer skills due to our large home delivery database
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given in all aspects of the role
