Job Description

This position is to cover the Christmas season and will run until 31st December 2025 with the potential to be permanent.

An opportunity has arisen for a retail assistant with a genuine enthusiasm for customer service to provide advice and assistance to customers. Working at our unit in Waverley Market, you will be responsible for a variety of duties to create an attractive and welcoming environment for our customers, whilst going above and beyond to help.

You will become part of a friendly and well-motivated team. You will need to provide a high level of customer service whilst dealing with a variety of tasks including:

Welcoming customers by greeting them and offering assistance. Advising customers with information on the range of products we sell. Helping customers make selections by building customer confidence and offering suggestions and opinions. Process cash and credit card payments. Keep customers informed of current in-store promotions. Stock merchandising and rotation completed to a high standard reflecting our premium brands. Housekeeping and cleaning, both internal and external. Contribute towards our team effort by accomplishing results and targets.

The idea candidate will have:

You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent customer handling skills, part-time positions are available and will include essential weekend work

Full training will be given to the successful candidate for this permanent work. There are plenty of opportunities for the right person to progress within our organisation.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
