We seek a motivated, vibrant and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our happy team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for customers while assisting them with their purchases and ensuring a smooth shopping experience on our lovely Christmas market stall at the Cathedral Christmas Market in Exeter.
Must have at least two years of retail experience.
Also, a love of natural fibres or some interest in sustainable businesses is essential. We sell products that are either Fairtrade, Made in England or Recycled, so we have a strong underlying ethos to the stall that employees need to be behind.
Must be able to work flexible hours 3-5 days a week between 20th November and 19th January approximately. Weekend work is sometimes necessary and hours are from 10-7 or 9 depending on the day.
We can also try to be flexible to fit in with your needs if you already have some commitments.
Must feel happy working alone in a busy market environment on a Christmas market. Lastly, we need someone who has a "can-do" attitude to solving any potential problems that may occur, as you will be working alone.
We have a great working environment, all stock at cost price on the stall plus a bonus if we do well.
