Reporting to the Senior Management Team, the Retail Assistant will work alongside others in the same role and volunteers to drive shop performance.

As a Retail Assistant you will be involved in all aspects of a customer focused role such as:

Ensuring the highest standard of customer service Achieving maximum sales Assisting in all store operating procedures such as sorting donations, stock rotation, deliveries, merchandising, pricing and shop-floor replenishment Working on E-Commerce to maximise online sales
As a Keyholder, you will be responsible for the store on your working days, and this may involve lone working. Therefore, applicants must be 18+ years old. This position is for 16 hours working on a rota basis which will include weekend and bank holiday working.

You MUST be available to work weekends and you MUST be able to be flexible with your hours.

Whilst previous experience in retail is not essential, the desire to achieve the absolute best in customer service is. You will have the ability to work collaboratively with others and be comfortable guiding the activity of volunteer team members.

Retail Therapy is our first charity retail outlet, opened in 2019 to raise vital funds for Pete's Dragons. Pete's Dragons is an award-winning charity which provides postvention support to those affected by suicide. Our Retail Therapy shop is an integral part of raising funds, we are more ambitious and determined than ever to reduce suicide in Devon and support those left behind.
