The Role
This role will primarily be in our Food Hall which will involve food handling and preparation as well as product retailing where excellent standards of service and hygiene are expected. As this is a customer facing role, high standards of customer service are required as well as the ability to work as part of the team and be flexible in your duties to meet the needs of a busy Food Hall. Whilst working in the Food Hall you will also be required to comply with all food safety legislation, procedures and standards.
Are you the person we are looking for?
Above all we are looking for a real people person with the ability to quickly build a good rapport with customers and colleagues alike. The role will involve operating our EPOS and till systems therefore a basic level of IT literacy will be required as will the ability to learn and retain product knowledge. Experience in a retail or food handling environment would be an advantage although not essential as full training will be provided.
The successful candidate must be capable of manual work as the role will involve bending, lifting and carrying a variety of products.
