Job Summary
We are looking for a Retail Assistant to work with us in our busy gallery in Glenrothes.
Robertson Fine Art is one of Scotland's most well known and independently owned Art Galleries, we work very closely with our branch in Edinburgh and between us ship artwork all over the world on a regular basis. Dealing in Giftware from 5.00 up to originals over 100,000 . We are looking for someone who has the confidence and skillset to negotiate sales on both ends of the spectrum. From our stunning 5000 square foot showroom you will deal face to face with clients, help and support the Gallery Manager with general day to day running of the gallery, gift shop and clothing boutique.
Applicant must have experience in Customer Service and in Sales and be fairly computer literate, as all our homeware stock input is done inhouse. Adequate training will of course be provided.
Contract will be for a minimum of 12 hours per week, you will be required to work more to cover holidays and while staff are away at home shows / art fairs.
Applicant must be able to eloquently liaise with clients both over the phone and via email.
This position is not suitable for College/University Students
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
