We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Golf Shop Retail Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, assist with merchandising, and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests and members. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently while ensuring a high standard of service.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs in the golf shop. Manage inventory and merchandising displays to promote products effectively. Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Provide information about golf equipment, apparel, and accessories to enhance customer experience. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the shop area. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Assist in scheduling tee times and managing bookings as required.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively. Strong organisational skills to maintain an orderly shop environment. Experience in merchandising is a plus, with an eye for product presentation. Ability to engage customers through effective upselling techniques while providing excellent service.
