Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Oversee merchandising activities, including product placement and visual displays, to maximise sales potential.
Support recruitment, training, and development of staff to foster a high-performing team.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly, maintaining high standards of phone etiquette and communication skills.
Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and coordinate with suppliers as necessary.
Organise schedules to optimise staff coverage during peak hours while ensuring effective time management.
Assist with administrative tasks such as reporting sales figures, maintaining records, and implementing store policies.
Promote a positive shopping environment through organisational skills and leadership presence on the shop floor.
Qualifications
Proven management or supervisory experience within retail or sales environments.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Excellent communication skills, including bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous.
Demonstrated organisational skills with the capacity for multitasking and prioritising tasks efficiently.
Experience in merchandising, sales management, and retail operations is highly desirable.
Good time management skills with an organised approach to daily responsibilities.
Administrative experience relevant to retail settings is preferred.
