Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating products or services Engage with customers through effective communication and active listening Promote products through upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system Manage stock levels, organise shelves, and ensure the sales floor remains tidy and inviting Handle customer enquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Assist in organising promotional events or seasonal displays Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth store operations

Skills

Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a distinct advantage Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts Knowledge of merchandising principles to optimise product presentation Effective phone etiquette when dealing with customer calls or inquiries Demonstrated ability to upsell products tactfully to maximise sales potential Organised with good time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
