Retail Assistant (part Time)
Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person to join the team at our small independent supermarket in Porthleven to cover a period of maternity leave.. We are a family business with a strong tradition of support for local produce and suppliers.
The hours are 20.5 per week (currently Thurs 12-5pm, Fri 7am-12 nooon, Sat 7am-12.30pm, Sun 12-5pm). The post is a short term one to cover maternity leave, which is expected to finish in April 2026.
Extra hours are often available.
You will be keen to work in a varied role in which you can provide excellent customer service and attention to detail. Your duties will include till work, checking in deliveries, shelf stacking and cleaning. You must be aged 18 or over due to the laws relating to the sale of alcohol. Retail experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
