This is a
rare
opportunity to join our current team in thiswell-established Sidmouth
shop
. The shop can be verybusy at times throughout the year,
and requires a person who canwork under pressure and as part of a team.
In our quieter times, they would need to be able to work under theirown initiative
and use the time to restock and tidy the shop. The position involves -welcoming and talking
to our visitors andoffering information and advice on our stock
. Awillingness and passion to learn
on the job in very important. The positions also involves -serving customers, handling cash and card payments, stock control and display, keeping the shop clean, safe and tidy and, above all, being part of our happy team who hope to make each customers visit a great experience.
The shop is open 7 days a week and the busiest times are during seasonal holidays and at weekends. The position is fortwo
week days per week and occational holiday cover which may include a weekend day.
Additional hours would be available and we run a weekend workingBonus Scheme which pays an additional 2 per hour when working either Saturday or Sunday.
We also give apaid 20 minute lunchbreak when working at least a 6 hour day.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
