Have you "got what it bakes???

This is a Saturday position.

To uphold Carr's retail service standard, by delighting customers with our products and service. To create an environment where customers choose to shop at Carr's rather than any other bakery product shop, and that they positively recommend our products and service to others.

Hours:



Saturday 11:00 - 18:30

Responsibilities:



Serving and advising customers promptly.

Taking payment rapidly and accurately and give every customer their receipt.

Check each paper note that you receive with a note checker pen.

Helping customers to find the goods they want, going the extra mile to make sure the customer gets what they want and need.

Advising customers, other staff members and managers on stock amounts.

Giving information on products and prices willingly and responsively when asked.

Stacking shelves or displaying goods in an attractive way, demonstrating goods in a way that will generate sales.

Promoting special offers or promotions, encouraging customers to buy other or more products.

Answering the telephone as quickly as possible, answering the call with a friendly, helpful, and polite manner.

Taking customer orders in the shop, making sure the information you have been given has been noted correctly on the correct order form provided.

Taking payments for customer orders, making sure these have been put on the till correctly and been transferred to the office.

Ensure the customer receives relevant and the accurate information needed for their specific order.

Ensure that stock or products used correctly within the stock rotation system.

Ordering goods from the bakery, including keeping accurate records of stock.

Handling complaints politely or passing them on to a manager quickly and responsively.

Following the instructions and reasonable requests of your line manager without complaint.

Knowledgeable about products and willing to find out if you don't know the answer to a customer's question.

Positive always, when in a customer facing situation even when you don't feel very positive yourself, or if you are having a 'bad-day.'

Pleasant and respectful. Always showing customers respect, even when they may not have been respectful to you.

Diligent and conscientious. Being mindful of your responsibilities to Carr's and maximizing your contribution during working hours.

Caring about all your customers, your work colleagues and your manager and treating them as you would want to be treated.

Tolerant of others differences and cheerful the majority of the time.
