Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused part time Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Fat Buddha. Fat Buddha is a small, family-owned, independent retail store which sells brands such as Carhartt, Patagonia, Red Wing and a variety of gifts and spray paint. We are Living Wage Employers.

Duties

Assist customers in selecting products and providing detailed information to support their purchasing decisions Operate the till efficiently, handling transactions accurately and courteously. Manage stock levels, restock shelves, and organise stockroom areas for easy access Support organisational tasks such as inventory checks and record keeping Foster positive relationships with customers by delivering friendly and professional service

Requirements

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Time management abilities to prioritise tasks during busy periods Experience in retail sales is preferred

Would ideally suit a student who has worked previously in retail.

Must be available to work weekends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 14 per week
