We are looking for a friendly and confident

Retail Assistant

to join the Estate Market team.

This is a

permanent, part-time position

, working approx 20 hours per week. You must be available to work early mornings and weekends, flexibility with days worked is essential.

We offer a

competitive salary of 12.50 per hour plus gratuities

Gratuities (tips) are an additional charge added onto services and are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. The amount is not guaranteed and is depended on service charge paid.*

A

Retail Assistant

will provide support for customers shopping in our retail shop. You will answer customer queries while ensuring that the shop is presentable, process any product purchases, or orders and make sure the right stock is on display in the right place whilst sold safely. Working as part of a team you will need to be a keen team player and require a constant positive demeanour as you will regularly deal with customers in a face-to-face capacity. The nature of the role means that you'll be often multitasking and require exceptional organisational skills.

Your Key Responsibilities:



You will be responsible for ensuring the shop is clean, properly stocked and runs efficiently. As a Retail Assistant you will primarily focus on helping customers while also maintaining the operation of the shop. Retail Assistants may deal with customer complaints or uncommon queries, which requires both interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Since a Retail Assistant is the customer facing part of our brand, you should always provide a positive customer experience. The primary duties of a Retail Assistant include:

Assisting customers finding products and processing payments Taking deliveries Keeping the shop organised Dealing with customer queries or complaints Making orders and recommendations Opening and closing the shop

Proven Experience/Qualifications:



Previous retail experience would be helpful although not essential. You must be over 18 to apply for this role.
