Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, maintaining the sales floor, and assisting customers with their shopping needs. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desirable to better serve our diverse clientele, English must be fluent. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who are organised, communicative, and enthusiastic about retail.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating products or services Engage with customers through effective communication skills to understand their needs and recommend suitable products Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays Upsell additional items or promotions to maximise sales opportunities Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately and courteously Manage stock levels by organising shelves and replenishing merchandise as needed Keep the sales area clean, organised, and welcoming at all times Assist in organising promotional events or seasonal displays to enhance store appeal

Skills

Fluency in English; speaking other languages is a strong advantage Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Strong organisational skills to manage stock and maintain a tidy sales environment Basic maths skills for handling transactions and calculating change accurately Time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods Knowledge of merchandising principles to create appealing product displays Ability to upsell products tactfully to maximise sales potential Organised with good organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
