Job Description

Due to increasing business, we are looking for a retail shop assistant required to join our team.

Hours will be 8am to 3.15pm (Hours may vary depending on staff holidays and sickness, so you must be flexible).

The hours on Saturdays will be 06.00 - 2.15pm. This is every other Saturday.

This is a Monday to Friday position, but every other Saturday will be required. Again, you must be flexible due to covering Staff Holidays and Sickness.

We are paying 12.31 Per Hour.

Based in the Heart of Pewsey we can offer free car parking, and we are easily accessible by Public Transport.

Main Duties of the Job:

Serving customers in a timely and efficient manner

Cash Handling and taking Card Transactions

Assisting our customers with product needs

Keeping the Food Counters topped up with our delicious hot and ambient food products

Keeping the fridges toped up with cold drinks

Restocking the shelves

End of day Duties, some of which will be cleaning the food counters at the end of the day, filling in simple paper work (full training on this will be given) Hoovering and mopping down main shop area.

On occasions answering the phone if you are not serving Customers and taking messages and writing down Customer Orders.

We are a small and successful Team so you must be a team player but be able to work on your own initiative and be able to help where you can.

We would prefer someone with Retail and Cash Handling experience.

Full training will be given.

Immediate start for the successful Candidate but we can wait if you need to give notice on previous employment.

Pay: 12.21-12.31 per hour
