About the Role:
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Retail Assistant to join our Golf Professional Shop team. This role is ideal for a
student
,retired person
, or anyone with akeen interest in golf
who enjoys working with people in a relaxed, sporting environment.You'll be the first point of contact for members and visitors, helping to create a welcoming and professional experience in the pro shop.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service Assisting customers with golf equipment, clothing, and accessories Operating the till and handling payments Answering basic enquiries about the golf course, tee times, and lessons Stocking shelves and maintaining attractive product displays Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and well-organised Supporting the golf professional and team with day-to-day tasks
What We're Looking For:
Friendly, approachable, and reliable attitude Interest in golf (playing experience helpful but not essential) Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer or till experience preferred, but training provided
