Hours:

30 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Pay:

12.21 per hour

The Role



As a Retail Social Enterprise Assistant, you will predominantly work within our Rhyl charity shop, supporting the daily running of the shop while working with individuals with a learning disability.

Your role will focus on retail activities such as customer service, stock handling and till work, while providing encouragement, guidance and practical support to help individuals take part confidently in meaningful work.

On occasion, you will also work at our Kit Out The Kids warehouse, our social enterprise hub where donated clothing is sorted and prepared for sale.

This is not a traditional care or retail role. It is a retail based position with a strong focus on inclusion, skill development and teamwork.

What You'll Be Doing



Putting out stock and replenishing the rails/shelves when required Providing friendly, professional customer service Operating the till and handling transactions Supporting visual merchandising and shop presentation Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming shop environment
Support & Inclusion

Supporting individuals with a learning disability to engage in shop based tasks Encouraging confidence, independence and skill development Working in a patient, respectful and person centred way Promoting inclusion and positive teamwork
Warehouse / Social Enterprise Hub (Occasional)

Collecting and preparing stock for the shop Supporting clothing sorting and recycling activities

Who We're Looking For



You will be a good fit if you are kind, patient and enjoy working with people. You should be reliable, personable and polite, with a positive, team focused approach.

Retail experience is an advantage Experience supporting someone with a learning disability is desirable A willingness to learn and get involved is essential
