Vine House Farm Shop & Cafe, Deeping St Nicholas, Lincolnshire

Hours:

Friday & Saturday (flexibility required for additional hours during peak times, holiday cover and sickness cover)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic

Part-Time Retail Assistant

to join our team at our counters in Vine House Farm Shop & Cafe. This is a customer-focused role with varied duties, ideal for someone who enjoys working with the public and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing outstanding customer service at our retail counters. Serving and advising customers on our range of products. Carrying out general shop duties, including stock rotation and merchandising. Performing very basic butchery tasks (full training provided). Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety requirements. Assisting with day-to-day cleaning tasks and general upkeep of the counters. Working flexibly to cover busy periods, holidays, and sickness when required.

What We're Looking For:

A friendly, approachable, and proactive attitude. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic food handling or retail experience is desirable but not essential (training provided). Flexibility to work extra hours when required.

Own transport is essential

due to the rural location.
