Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for purchasing goods from the general public and sell our BuyBack services in a timely manner while ensuring optimal quality and cost-effectiveness. This role requires strong negotiation skills and an understanding of New and mostly 2nd hand goods. The Buyer will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations and supporting the overall objectives of the organisation.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, and price products based on quality, price, used condition. Negotiate with customers to secure the best possible deals. Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimising excess. Collaborate with Sales department to understand purchasing needs . Monitor market trends to identify potential overstock risks or buying opportunities. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and located items on BuyBack Develop strong relationships with Customers to foster collaboration and resolve any issues that may arise. This role is physically demanding, Standing, walking with moderate lifting. As the stores buyer you will be constantly busy

Skills

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes effectively. Proficient in logistics and supply chain management principles. Excellent analytical skills to assess supplier performance and market conditions. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities.
