Weekend Retail Assistant Wanted at Sofa Outlet Ltd, Telford

Sofa Outlet Ltd is a brand-new, family-run, and inclusive furniture warehouse showroom in Telford. We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark in a growing business, with real potential for development into a supervisory role in the future!

What you will be doing:

This isn't just a standard retail job! You will be involved in all aspects of our business, from checking and grading our latest sofa arrivals to showcasing them online. You'll be the friendly face of our company, helping customers in the showroom and responding to their emails and Facebook messages. Your day will also involve keeping the showroom looking great, processing sales, and arranging deliveries.

We are looking for someone who is:

A Great Communicator:

You love talking to people and providing excellent customer service, both in person and online.

Hands-On:

You are happy to get stuck in with a variety of tasks to support the team.

Detail-Oriented:

You have a keen eye for detail, whether you're assessing stock, writing a product description, or replying to a customer.

A Tech-Savvy Team Player:

You are flexible, reliable, and comfortable using computers for various tasks.

The Details:

Location:

Hortonwood Industrial Estate, Telford

Pay:

National Minimum Wage (from 10.00 to 12.21 per hour, dependent on age), plus commission bonus pay of up to 5% per sale.

Annual Leave:

28 days holiday per year (pro-rata), including bank holidays.

Working Hours:

10am-4pm, including a 30-min unpaid break, Saturday and Sunday (11 paid hours per week). Option for occasional overtime to cover weekday shifts.
