As a Retail Assistant you will be responsible for:

Assisting guests and customers with their queries and processing payments. Receiving, unpacking and arranging new shipments from suppliers and vendors. Arranging and labelling goods in the display shelves. Providing shopping advice and recommendations, wrapping and presenting products for our guests and customers. Collaborating with other team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organised at all times. Creating memorable experiences for our guests, simultaneously ensuring that service is prompt and professional. Supporting the Retail team, including the Retail Manager and other Retail assistant with opening and closing the Retail, responding to emails and sending reports. Occasionally support other Outlets in the hotel

Successful candidates for our Retail Assistant opportunity will:

Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridge's and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service. Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories. Be motivated, creative and have worked in a similar role, within a five star or luxury hotel environment. You will have a passion for luxury and quality products, be a team player who is an avid learner who wants to be challenged and developed. Be fluent in spoken and written English. Demonstrate the ability to adapt within busy periods of the year such as Christmas. Knowledge of Excel, Micros and Adaco systems would be advantageous.
