As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for selling products, assisting customers, and maintaining an organised store environment.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide tailored assistance. Sell products effectively while demonstrating knowledge of merchandise features and benefits. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer's shopping experience and increase sales. Maintain an organised and visually appealing store layout, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are tidy. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. Process transactions accurately using the till, ensuring basic maths skills are applied for cash handling. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations within the store. Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.

Skills

Strong selling skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Excellent organisational skills to maintain store presentation and stock levels. Time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods. Effective communication skills in both English and Spanish; bilingual candidates are highly desirable. Proficient phone etiquette for handling customer interactions over the phone. Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
