Summary

We are seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to join our friendly team in the heart of the fashion retail industry. We have recently launched a new retail experience for our customers, where they can visit us and shop in person. We are seeking a fashion-loving individual who is happy to run the shop floor and help our customers face-to-face. Full training provided. When the shop floor is quiet, the main responsibility will be to help the returns team. The ideal candidate will be happy doing both roles alongside eachother, both customer facing and warehouse responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their purchases and inquiries. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising. Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Communicate product knowledge effectively to enhance customer experience. Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale. Assist in inventory management and restocking of merchandise as needed. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals. Stay updated on current fashion trends to provide informed recommendations. Work alongside the warehouse team to process returns and refunds through our portal.

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail or customer service roles. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer engagement. Knowledge of merchandising principles and practices. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, particularly in English and Spanish. Confident and willing to learn our returns portal and processes. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
