We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Retail Assistant and Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, contributing to the effective management of stock and materials. This position involves various tasks, including picking and packing online orders, photographing models, listing on website, serving customers on the till and dealing with customer questions, while maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Vital information, we are looking for someone who is very well organized. The shop is still very new and the owner is not the most organized person, so we are in need of someone who is able to counterbalance this. You do not need to know or understand the products we sell, what is more important is that you are a very well organized person. To prove your attention to detail, please include the word "Online 1" at the top of your cover letter or add to the top line of your CV. Without this, we will assume you have not read the description and will auto decline your application.

Responsibilities

Working Independently, Opening and closing the retail premises. Listing products on company website (training provided). Overseeing events. Operate the Warehouse Management System to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper techniques are used for heavy lifting and movement. Build and assemble products as required for shipping or storage. Perform picking and packing duties accurately to fulfil customer orders. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.

Experience

Essential- Must be very organised Basic computer skills Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous. Experience in stock management, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials efficiently. A proactive attitude towards safety practices within the warehouse setting is essential.

Employment will be for afternoons, evenings and weekends. You will be working alone and will be required to open and close the shop. Reliability and Trustworthiness are 2 key required traits.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.22 per hour
