Role Overview:



The Retail Business Manager will

oversee the day-to-day operations of Karaama's current and future retail units, ensuring optimal performance, exceptional customer experience, and achievement of sales targets. This role will

also manage the business expansion initiatives, identifying opportunities to grow the brand and streamline operational processes. The role holder will work closely with Karaama's Management Team and will be a key personnel in driving the growth of business and the brand.

Karaama means 'miraculous', the brand has been created with love and passion from the personal story of the Founder Runu. We are looking to build not just a team but a family who will work with passion, commitment, energy and understand our values and ethics.

We are a growing, thriving Luxury Fragrance Brand with big plans for growth and expansion for the next few years.

Key Responsibilities:1. Business Operations



Full Responsibility for Retail Performance

: Own all aspects of the retail units business, including sales, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and compliance with Karaama'sbrand standards and company policies. .

Daily Operations

: Ensure the daily operations of the store, opening, and closing procedures are adhered to. Cash handling, cash depositing, housekeeping and security are maintained. Ensuring staff members are on time, well groomed and in correct uniform.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):

Develop and implement SOPs for daily operations, inventory management, customer service, sales processes etc. developing a blueprint for future expansion.

Technology and Systems

: Leverage EPOS / CRM systems and other technologies to increase operational efficiency, monitor sales, KPIs and enhance customer service.

2. Sales and Performance Management



Sales Targets

: Drive the stores to achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by analysing performance, implementing sales strategies, and motivating the team. Break down overall store targets and KPIs into achievable goals for each Sales Consultant, holding the team accountable for their performance.

Customer Service Excellence:

: Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service, building rapport with customers, and ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.

Performance Tracking

: Regularly assess and report to HQ on store performance, providing insights on customer behaviour, sales trends, and operational challenges.

3. Team Management



Talent Acquisition

: Recruit and onboard high-calibre Sales Consultants who embody Karaama'sbrand ethos and have a passion for luxury fragrances.

Training and Development:

Create a comprehensive training manual and conduct regular training, ensuring all team members are well-versed in Karaama'sbrand story, our fragrance collections, including scent notes, longevity, and layering. Also to include customer service best practices ensuring staff provide exceptional experience.

Performance Reviews

: Regularly assess and review the team's performance, setting individual development plans and providing feedback to support their growth and performance improvement.

Staff Scheduling

: Manage scheduling/ rota to ensure optimal staffing levels, balancing peak times and staff costs efficiently.

4. Branding and In-Store Marketing



Uphold Brand Standards

: Ensure that Karaama'sbrand values are reflected in all aspects of the store, from visual merchandising and ambiance to customer interactions.

Campaign Development and Execution

: Create/implement in-store marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions that align with Karaama'sbrand values and strategy, to increase traffic and boost sales.

Collaboration with HQ Marketing

: Work closely with the head office marketing team to ensure in-store promotions and campaigns align with overall brand messaging and online efforts.

Visual Merchandising

: Implement visual merchandising guidelines to enhance product appeal and align with Karaama's brand image.

Ideal Candidate Profile:



Experience

: 10+ years in sales or retail with 3+ years management, preferably within the fragrance or beauty industry.

Skills

: Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets, managing store operations and developing systems and people.

Attributes

: Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and motivated to uphold luxury brand standards and inspire team performance.
