Job Description

To work in the Oasis Restaurant, serving staff, patients and visits. To give great hospitality and service to each and every visitor. Working directly for the Retail Catering Supervisor, be a team player and to follow all policies and procedures as laid out by UHD Trust.



Use of a till. Working behind a servery counter, serving hot and cold food and beverages. Taking and recording hot and cold temperature checks, writing orders, rotating and refilling stock, clearing and wiping tables, general cleaning duties.



To work alongside the Catering Supervisor and follow all reasonable requests.

This post is part of the facilities service that UHD may transfer to an NHS 'wholly owned subsidiary'; the proposed date of transfer is October 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to join a developing, expanding, organisation with a strong commitment to NHS values and putting patients first. The NHS wholly owned subsidiary will continue to offer NHS AFC T&Cs to current employees who transfer in October as well as to new employees recruited after that date.



Responsible for serving all of our customers in a professional manner. Serving hot and cold beverages, performing general catering duties, use of a till, general cleaning and basic food preparation.



Undertake any ad hoc duties as required by the Retail Catering Supervisor.
