Retail Catering Supervisor

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, hardworking and committed individual, with previous supervisory experience of working within a busy catering environment to join the catering team at our main hospital site in Truro. You will be responsible for the supervision of our retail department. To promote and maintain best practice in all areas including food preparation, meal service, customer service and storage. This position involves flexibility and hands on approach. You will be required to work in all areas of the retail catering department.
Main duties of the job
To provide effective leadership to the retail catering team and to be responsible for co-ordination of duties within the department. You must be willing to cover any area of work when required.
To be instrumental in the development of quality initiatives and in ensuring the effectiveness of your team.
To ensure the Trust's high standards are reflected in practice.
