An opportunity has arisen
for an enthusiastic and outgoing individual with a genuine passion for customer service. The role is to provide advice and assistance to customers to maximise the likelihood of a sale. Working at our unit at Edinburgh Airport, you will be responsible for a variety of duties to create an attractive and welcoming environment for our customers, whilst going above and beyond to help passengers in the airport and the mall.
The ideal candidate will be able to acquire a thorough knowledge of the company's products and pass that knowledge on to our customers. The goal is to facilitate service and sales in every possible way in order to drive sustainable growth.
Daily tasks include: Retail sales, services such as bag wrap, left luggage, lost property and shipping services.
What you will be doing:
Daily cashing up production of end of day reports
Dealing with lost property queries via email, phone calls or face to face
Retail of travel goods and accessories
Bag wrapping
Handling customer goods for storage
Shipping including providing quotes and parcelling items for courier collection
Deal with complaints in a patient and helpful manner
Go the "extra mile" to exceed KPI's
What you need for this position:
Proven experience in a customer service/sales role
'Tech-savvy' with knowledge of computer systems and databases
Patient and comfortable dealing with complaints
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organisational and multi-tasking abilities
Good physical endurance
