Luggage Point are seeking a customer focussed person for the role of Retail and Service Assistant for their store based at Glasgow Airport. This is a varied and dynamic role within a well known and highly respected retailer at the airport location.

Previous experience ideally in a retail environment

What this role is all about?

The role of Retail and Service Assistant involves working within our retail store at Glasgow Airport, with a focus on retail sales as well as providing essential services to travelling passengers within the airport. Luggage Point services include handling lost property, bag wrapping and left luggage.

No day is ever the same in the airport and this role promises a great deal of variety, from delivering high standards of customer service, delivering retail sales to resolving passengers problems and reuniting them with missing items. This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people and can build great working relationships with a team to deliver on the key objectives for Luggage Point.

Important

To work within the airport you must be able to provide a full 5 years worth of work history as well as complete a Criminal reference check prior to starting work.

Application question(s):

Shifts are generally 9 hours in length (includes 2 x 30 minute unpaid breaks) and can start as early as 4am and finish as late as 9pm. Can you get to and from the store at those times by public transport or using your own vehicle?
